Today, standing in front of a group of about 35 twelve and thirteen-year-olds, all standing on their heads, I thought to myself, "There couldn't be a more perfect job for me!"When we moved here I was sad to find out that, unlike Utah, California does not have a plethora of jobs available for first year teachers. When I realized that I probably wasn't going to get a teaching job right away, I started looking into being substitute. Around September I started.
I love this job because every day I get to do something different!!!!! This week I've been teaching 6th and 7th grades gymnastics, but I've also taught Elementary, Middle and High School, English, P.E., Special Ed, Music, Kindergarten, and even a language development preschool.
Life is Great.
That sounds like so much fun, you make me want to go get a job as a subsitute. Now tell me this did you do a handstand too?
ReplyDeleteYes, and cartwheels, handstands, the whole nine yards!
