Guerrilla Knitting

Being sick all last week, I wasn't able to get a whole lot done. I did, however, finally finish my contribution to a Guerrilla Knitting Project. One day while browsing the web I came across a request for knitted donations to be used to cover trees around a local library. The project will be used kick-off a summer reading program.
When I was about seven my grandma taught me how to knit. Besides making scarves (of which you can only have so many) I've never really found a use for this skill. With a week of sitting on the couch watching movies and not much energy to do anything else, it was nice to be able to do something productive. If anyone stops by the Franklin Library on June 13th, my bit is black, blue, and green.

  1. I still have the hat you knitted for me in college! BTW, when are we going to see pregnant belly pix?

  2. Cool! How do you outfit a tree? Do you measure the diameter of your section first?

  3. There was a range for width and then it said, "and just go until you get bored. We can stack pieces if needed."
