Korean Wisdom

For Christmas, my sister Carrie (the missionary) sent us each a little notebook from Korea. Each book had Korenglish (written in English but using some rules of Korean grammar) phrases written on the front and on some of the pages. On the front, mine says, "Happy Kitchen: A kitchen is a room that is used for cooking and for household jobs such as washing dishes." That phrase is accompanied by a detailed sketch of a pot-bellied stove. Inside, at the very bottom of the pages, there are more pictures and phrases. One page has a picture of a bicycle with a present tied on the back. Next to it says, "A trip in a journey that you take to a particular place." Yesterday, as I was flipping through this notebook, I came upon some pretty useful advice. It simply stated, "If you want to be treated like a king then king it." My goal for today is to king it.

  1. Awesome! Love Korenglish. I want to hear what you did today to "King it"!
