Carrie On, Carrie On, Carrie On (her way home)

Hey little sister, I can't wait to see you again.
Just six weeks until I see your grin!
You've been in a land in the south of Korea
And although you'll miss it, I'll be so glad to see ya'.
You loved the people and served them well,
but now it's time to bid them farewell.

You're my little sister that I love so much,
Let me reminisce about such and such. When we were little we liked to bake.
We'd make cookies and tarts and cake.
Now-a-days your cakes look like this,
Where mine on the other hand always have something amiss.
You were always there to play pioneer.
Whenever I wanted to play, you'd volunteer.
We'd play Oregon Trail and ride the ferry,
and every now and then we'd die of dysentery.

We'd do crazy things like make gardens of zen,

And wear silly hats every now and again.

You put together my wedding day,

and were there for me every step of the way.

Well, except for that hour when you slipped off
and covered the car with everything except strogaoff.

I'm counting down the day until I can see your face.
You're the best little sister* in the whole human race.
*Please note, I also have the world's best older Sister!! Maybe I'll write her a poem another day.
