Although jelly beans and olive oil don't necessarily go together, it was a very fun day.

Jellies and Oil
Today we drove to Fairfield to go to the Jelly Belly Factory. I would just like everyone to know that I drove there without the GPS. Hooray for me. Kate loved watching the machines spin the jelly beans around. She also loved her paper hat.
On our way back home we saw a sign that said, "Olive oil tasting". That sounded too interesting to resist. It's basically a mom and pop olive oil shop. They gave us a 20+ minute speech about the health benefits of olive oil, how to tell impostor oil, and let us taste several varieties (only little pieces of bread). They recommend everyone drink 2-3 tablespoons a day. Straight. I'm not going to start doing that, but I did enjoy the store. You can check it out online sepayoliveoil.com.
