Personalized Junk

Yesterday we pulled into the driveway. I went to get Kate out of the car while Christian got the mail. I looked up to see him with a confused look on his face as he was staring down at an envelope. "What is it?" I asked. "I'm not sure.....something from the admission's office I guess," he responded. I walked over and looked down at the white envelope in his hand. On the front was attached yellow post-it note which read,
"Christian,
Please fill this out and return it to the admission's department. Thanks! -Carol"
Christian couldn't think of anything that would need to be turned into the admission's office at law school, so he ripped open the envelope to find out what was inside. Surprise!! It was an application to attend Kaplan College. You know, the type of college you see an add for at two in the morning when you're not quite sure why you're still watching TV but it's so late that suddenly their forty or so programs, mostly available on the Internet, are actually starting to sound interesting. We've both gotten lots of adds from colleges like that, but this was the most personalized offer either of us has ever received. I guess if law school doesn't work out, Christian can always give Carol a call.

  1. How funny. The Marines sent K a pamphlet the other day. 39 years old and with MS? I doubt he's a likely candidate for them...

  2. Pugsley has been accepted to college. And recently received a can of baby formula for his baby.

For those of you who don't know, Pugsley is a dog we had 3 years ago.
