I've officially turned into a really old person. Last week, for the first time in my life, I got swimmer's ear. When the nice Doctor at Express Care in the middle of Rite Aide told me Sunday morning before church (I was desperate! I googles Dr.'s offices open on the 4th of July in Sacramento and Rite Aide was the first that came up) thought to myself, "Really? I put my head under maybe two times. I've never had a problem with this before. What are the odds?" Dr. Nice Lady gave me some ear drops, but they take 5-7 days to clear everything up. Until then, I'm stuck with a sore, swollen, very clogged ear and Christian is stuck saying, "I love you." "I said that I love you." "I SAID I LOVE YOU!" "Nevermind."
Oh man I had an ear infection once that made it so I couldn't hear and I felt like a crazy person. Apparently I talked really quietly because I was always afraid I was talking too loud. I ended up just barricading myself in my room for days because talking to people got too complicated.
ReplyDeleteJeff gets this sometimes and has to go get his ear(s) irrigated at the doctors. It's sweet relief for him as the drops never work.
