Thoughts on Callings

I feel like I've been posting a lot lately, but there has been a lot going on. Last Sunday I got a new calling at church working with the Young Women. For the last couple years I've been the Primary President, and the change is bittersweet. I'm really excited for the new call, but I'm also going to really miss working with such wonderful kids. I'm especially going to miss:
-Working with some wonderful teachers, counselors, and secretaries. They have taught me so much and it's been a pleasure to get to know them better.
-Watching the kids grow and learn. Kids change so much in a couple years. Its fun to see their personalities develop and to see them become more independent.
-Learning how to keep a bunch of 8-11 year old boys entertained. I don't think they'll ever know how much they taught me!
-Being kept on my toes every Sunday.
Now I'm especially excited because:
-I actually get to go with Christian to Sunday School.
-The Young Women are really fun. I was so surprised today when the girls took care of opening exercises. I'm used to whispering help into kids ears when they say a prayer. These girls arrange the prayer, a song, and a thought without any help at all.
-I get to work with some wonderful women!!
