Our friends went out of town for the weekend. They called yesterday and asked if we could watch their dog, Max. I said of course and soon after Kate went to bed, they dropped off the dog. Can you even imagine Kate's surprise when she woke up to this cute fluffy face. "Dog?!?!!" she said, barely able to believe her luck. She was so excited. She pulled out every dog book and stuffed dog toy she owns and tried to share them with Max. She's been chasing him around all day just as happy as can be. She's constantly checking his food and water dishes to make sure they're in the right place, and when we left for an hour or so, she started to tear up as we had to say, "Bye Max!" It's almost enough to convince me to get a dog......but not just yet.
