Relocating

About a week ago we packed everything we have into a big giant moving truck so that we could make the journey from Sacramento to Denver. Well, we packed almost everything into a big giant moving truck. Some things just didn't make the cut, like our portable dishwasher. See ya dishwasher! Thanks for all your hard work.
Kate took the first shift driving the truck.

However, since her feet had a hard time reaching the pedals, we told her she'd have to let someone else take a turn. She wasn't too happy about that.

She decided to ride in the back of the truck instead.

Kate's motivation to get to Salt Lake was to see 'Bomb Dog'. Whenever she was getting squirmy in the car, I'd say, "Who are we going to see at Grandma's house?" From the backseat I would hear, "Bomb Dog! Bomb Dog! Bomb Dog!"

Once we hit Salt Lake I was done driving. My mom, the kids, and I flew the rest of the way. We were really lucky because Christian's dad was working at the gate next to ours. James decided to sign a contract to work with United.

We finally made it to Denver and it quickly started to feel like home. One of the first things we did was make a stair fort. More pictures of the house are coming.

Sunday night Christian and I were curled up on the couch when we heard a strange noise. We looked outside and realized it was hailing huge chunks of ice. Pretty big, huh?

Finally, James turned 3 months. Here he is in his newborn outfit. He's my favorite little boy in the whole world.
