The Denver Art Museum (also known as the DAM) is one of our favorite places in Denver. I know I've posted about it before, but I had some cute pictures and I liked the title for the post, so here you go.
When my parents came to visit a while ago, they bought us a membership and we have definitely gotten their money's worth. Kate is constantly asking me to go. There are so many cool things to do with kids there.
This is our favorite part of the museum. There is a room filled with big stuffed words in all different languages. There are also words hanging down from the ceiling and written all over. The kids love hiding in them.

Here's another favorite, the giant puzzle blocks. James likes hitting them and pushing them around. Kate enjoys using them for their actual purpose.

Christian's favorite part of the museum is going through the modern art section and renaming thing paintings. Some of his titles include, "I was going to paint my canvas all black, but ran out of paint at the very end", "Oops. I left my art out in the rain", and my personal favorite, "My toddler got to the paints before I could."
I love how you guys enjoy the museum education programs! I am taking a class on museum outreach and education programs right now for grad school. What a great place to take kids! :)
