Snow My Goodness!

Frozen fingers, frozen nose,
Frozen ears and frozen toes.
Crunchy, crispy, flaky footsteps,
Icy slick and perilous doorsteps.

Hidden burrows laced with cold,
A fairyland hides tales untold.
Frigid webs adorn the fence,
Vanilla frosting, merely pretense.

Soggy boots lay by the door,
Begging for one more explore.
Toes now hidden safe from the storm,
Beneath the blankets soft and warm.

Cabin fever sets in quick,
Held captive by this Southern Arctic.
