Memorial Day Weekend

We had a very low-key, wonderful,  holiday weekend. It included:

Piggyback rides,

Flying a kite,

A sunny morning at the park,

 

Taking time to smell the flowers (and discover a caterpillar), 

 And a little time to sew. This is how the Little Mermaid dress turned out. Once again it's a little long, but I'm fixing it.

 Kate was very excited when I showed the dress to her. She didn't even take it off to ride her bike.

 It was really nice to sit back and enjoy family all weekend long.
