Basketball Saturday

When Christian watches sports on TV, Kate often asks about why there aren't girls. She went through a phase where she was uninterested in football because there weren't any girls. She became excited about it again because she really likes Star and the Wolfman, but she still occasionally still asks about the girls. Last week, Utah's women's basketball team was playing at DU, so we went to watch them play. Kate was so excited that it was 'all girls except the man in black and white' (the ref). She cheered loudly and wildly for both teams and beamed when one of the players gave her a high-five on the way into the locker room. James also loved the game and his eyes only left the ball when towards the end of the game when he spotted garbage cans and started yammering on about 'cans, cans, cans'. It was a really fun way to spend a Saturday evening and it was fun to see Kate get so excited!
