I did it! I think I was able to summarize the rest of our Utah trip in fewer than 10 pictures. This is what we did our last few days in Salt Lake:
1. We had dinner with my parents, sisters, brother-in-law, niece, two nephews, aunts, uncle, my cousin, his wife, and their four kids. That's twenty people at one table! Good thing my mom has a big table.
After dinner the kids played and played and played and played together.
2. We went to the Natural history museum. Does anyone remember this dinosaur footprint from the old museum? It used to be my favorite part. And look! I still fit inside....sort of. Just for the record, Kate was not at all interested in sitting in a dinosaur footprint.
3. We went to see a show at Desert Star Theater. There were these face cut-outs in the lobby. Kate insisted that she go in one and Merida in the other. She makes me laugh.
4. Betsy and Kate were best friends....most of the time.
5. The kids fell in love with the clock at Grandpa Kelsey's house. Every time it would chime, they would do a 'clock dance'.
6. We went to the Utah book store and I'm pretty sure James thought we were in paradise. His eyes were the size of saucers and he kept pointing all around him, "Hu-tah......Hu-tah!......Hutah!......Hutah football! Hutah basketball! Hutah." Both kids got a pen that plays 'Utah Man'. I have now heard that song about six-thousand times. I tried to get James to hold still for a picture, but he was running off to go see some other Utah item.
7. I finally got together with some of my friends from high school. It was so much fun to catch up.
Between the 4 of us we have 8 good looking kids!
8. Christian and I saw Les Mis together. It was wonderful. Amazing. Did I mention it was great? I loved it.
9. The kids went with Christian's mom to the aquarium and now they both want to be fish.
We visited the new museum last summer and we took photos of the kids in the footprint! I think most everyone has those photos. It was great to see you and your cute kids again.
