My mom met me in Phoenix and we made a road trip north to Utah. We stopped by some awesome places along the way.
Our first stop was to see this Cliff Dwelling. The kids declared it was a castle and both wanted to climb up it.
Next we stopped in Williams, Arizona. What a cute town!!!! I would love to back to Williams again someday. It was so much fun.
While there, Kate and I were thrown in jail.
James and Kate found a great swing.
My favorite part of Williams was 'Bearizona', a drive-through wildlife experience with buffalo, wolves, bears, and other animal exhibits.
There was also a walk-through part with beavers, porcupines, bear cubs, and a raptor show. There was also this random bear walking around. James fell in love with him and hugged him about 30 times.
The town of Williams looked a lot like Radiator Springs.
Kate was especially excited when she found 'Flo'.
That night we stayed in a caboose. It was really fun and the kids loved it.
This is what the inside looked like.
The next day we headed to the Grand Canyon.
Kate and James completed the 'Jr. Ranger' program and were both sworn in as official Jr. Rangers. They even took an oath to protect the park. The both received a badge and proudly wore them the rest of the day.
The next night we stayed at Jacob Lake. Surprisingly, there was no lake, but it was a really fun resort.
Oh, and James discovered a new sport to love: teatherball.

Love it!
