The Denver Zoo starts putting up lights some time in September, so we've been watching these lights go up for quite some time. We were not prepared at all how awesome the lights were going to look! As we pulled up the kids couldn't stop oohing and ahhing. It really was beautiful!
Along with the lights there were all sorts of fun activities going on including music, dancing, and a pinata. Neither of my kids had enough force to break the pinata, but they sure did run fast once the candy came flying out.
They especially liked the dancing. After we watched Polish dancing, they begged to stay and watch the Latin dancing. We watched dancing for a total of about 40 minutes.
