Here are some random pictures from the last month.
The kids decided to paint outside. It was a beautiful 60 degree day. For some reason I couldn't convince Kate to take her coat off!!
She didn't even take it off to ride her bike. What a goof.
James is always styling in sunglasses.
One day after we had gotten home from the park, my hands started to hurt. I figured I had somehow gotten slivers all over my hands. That night I got a few on my feet as well. I didn't think too much of it since I had worn flip-flops to the park. The next day I soaked my slivers, but it didn't really help. They lasted longer than slivers usually last. When they finally started to go away, Christian got on the internet and figured out I had hand foot and mouth disease. Crazy. No one else in the house got it, just me.
I took the kids to the library and while we were waiting for it to open, the kids went 'fishing' in the bushes.
At the Denver Zoo you get a free button, ice cream, and merry-go-round ride for your birthday. We went about a week after James' birthday but they let it slide.
James was even kind enough to share his ice cream with Kate.
One lazy Sunday afternoon James and I took silly picture on my phone. This was my favorite.
We had a big snow storm a couple weeks ago. We took advantage and made a snow man.
James chased me around throwing snowballs at me. I turned around to take his picture and I caught him with his pants falling down. Oh, and yes, he does have pink mittens. That's the life of a little brother.
During Spring Break the kids' teacher brought her kids with her to class. One of her sons is James. My James and her James bonded over garbage truck guys.
Conference was lovely. The kids insisted on dressing up most of the time.
Kate drew a picture during conference and then asked me how to spell the words to write on the back. It says, 'Animals on Noah's boat'. For some reason my computer is insisting this picture goes vertically, not horizontally.
We went to the museum with some friends a while ago. The 5 kids navigated most of the museum holding hands. It was very cute.
Here's Kate with one of her best friends, Anna. They're ready for some space travel!
One more picture with all 5, just because.
Finally, I snapped this picture at gymnastics a week ago. Now that these two are in the same class, they are almost inseparable! I love how much they love each other.
