My recommended the Young American's Bank to me. It is a kids' only bank in Denver, and apparently the only kids bank in the whole US. Boy oh boy it it amazing.
They have a coloring section set up.

They have a whole bunch of displays about money all around.
They have kids sized everything. The tellers are really kind and patient. They explained to the kids (in very simple language) about deposits, withdrawals, and some of the legal aspects of having a bank account. The kids each got a bank book and got to decorate it with stickers.
They also have all sorts of intensive programs for the kids. If they come in for three consecutive months, they get a prize. After 6 months, they get $5. After 9 they get a movie ticket. They also have lots of different free classes. The kids are even motivated to save some of their money. They're each up to a whopping seven dollars in their account. It's not too impressive considering I donated the first $5 to open the account.
