Christmas Letters #2

You may have read these last year. I'd like to add to my letters-to-people-who-will-never-get-them.

Dear Barnes and Noble Employee:

I bet you had no idea when we got in your line at customer service how excited my 4-year-old was to be there. I know it was ridiculously busy since it was Christmas Eve. Last week he saw something at the store that he was dying to buy for me for Christmas. He had been begging to return to buy it for me, but things got a little crazy around here. You had no idea that yesterday he started to cry because he had wanted to get that present so bad because he was worried I wouldn't have a good Christmas without it. Today, his Dad was busy running so other errands, so I was the one that took him back to the store. You were so kind when I explained that after scouring the store, this four year old couldn't find the thing that he so desperately wanted to buy for me. You knelt down next to him and let him whisper in your ear what he was looking for. You then took him by the hand, and walked him over to where to find the gift. You made sure that I was looking the other way, and then delivered the present to the check out so that I wouldn't see what it was. You made that little boy so happy! And you really put me in the Christmas spirit. I still don't know what it is in that lovingly wrapped package, but I can't wait to find out tomorrow morning!

Sincerly,
The Mom of a Very Happy Boy

Dear Salvation Army Bell Wringer in front of Hobby Lobby:

That you for taking time to explain to my kids what the red can is all about. More than that, when my kids asked me for some change to put in and I didn't have any, you went way above and beyond by giving them some of your own money to put in it. They were so excited to be able to help someone out.

Love,
A Grateful Parent

Dear Random Man at the Store:

Thank you for going absolutely ga-ga for my baby! It was so busy with all of the holiday hustle and bustle. A mom with three kids seems to get in a lot of peoples' way, so when you when nuts over how cute and doll-like my little baby is, it sure made my day.

Thanks,
1/4 of a big group of Kelseys at the store
