We Wish You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Christmas Eve we watched the Polar Express.

Then we had a Christmas Eve Dinner.

In the morning there were plenty of surprises! Including the surprise that Santa mixed up the kids' stockings. Whoops!

By the end of Christmas our tree was pretty dry, but it was still beautiful! The kids spent hours making everyone in the family presents. It was really fun to see them all wrapped up under the tree.

It was a very Lego Christmas.

This was my favorite present.

Aunt Carrie sent a glow-in-the-dark bean bag toss. It was a big hit!

This was the present James gave me, the one the nice man at Barnes and Noble helped him find. I love it and I keep it on my desk.

In the afternoon on Christmas Day, Kate and I went sledding. It was cold, but fun!

On Sunday, the kids were ready to show of their new Christmas outfits.

On New Years Eve the kids and I went to see the zoo lights....during the day. I was worried about the baby getting cold at night. Christian felt bad for the kids that they didn't see it with the lights on, so we went again a few days later (at night this time).

For New Years Eve dinner we went to Panera Bread. It was pretty empty!

We didn't think the kids would last until midnight, but they sure did! They played games all night long.

At midnight we popped poppers and yelled Happy New Year!

And this is how Eliza rang in the new year, poor thing!
