Kate's been saying ma-ma and
da-
da for a little while now. Today she said her first word that wasn't either of those. She eats sliced banana almost every morning (it's one of her favorite foods) and today as I was cutting one up, she reached for the plate and desperately said, "Na-
na!" I was so excited! I placed some of the banana in front of her and then a couple of pieces just out of her reach. As soon as she had eaten the slices in front of her, she reached for the others. When she figured out she couldn't reach them, she stretched farther and said "Na-
na na-
na". What a good morning!
Sometimes I think that will be Liam's first word too--but then again, who doesn't love bananas?
