It's been a tough week. Among other things, Kate's been really sick. Being sick means she hasn't been sleeping very well, and let me tell you, when the baby doesn't sleep, no one sleeps.
In the last two days, two different friends have bought me sugar-free ice cream. I don't know why, but it made me feel especially loved both times. Also, my sweet wonderful husband took me and Kate to see Harry Potter at the drive-in because he knew I was dying to go see it but that I wouldn't leave my sick baby at home with a babysitter. The ice cream and the movie were the silver lining on my rain-cloud of a week.
