This weekend Christian went with his dad to Notre Dame to watch the Utah game.
He high-fived the team as they came off the bus. 
Even though Utah lost, Christian really enjoyed his time at Rudy's Alma mater.
Kate sure missed him while he was gone. Ever time she heard my phone ring or a car door shut she would perk up and say, "Da da?" For a while she was unconsolable and curled up in some newspaper to take a nap.
That's when I decided it was time to put that girl to work outside. That cheered her up quickly. 
When I took her out of her crib and 11 pm so that we could pick up Christian from the airport, she looked like she was about to cry. I told her, "Kate, we're going to get Daddy." She lit up, gave an assuring "Da da", and snuggled in for the ride.
