My dad tried a new method of wrapping this year. He used big giant boxes and put a bunch of things inside them. Kate loved pushing them around. She loved opening them even more.

Kate only has two cousins, Gabe and Betsy. Betsy is only 4 months older than Kate. When they first met each other, Kate was 2 months old and Betsy spent most of the time trying to poke Kate's eyes out. Now they are like two little peas in a pod. Here they are with a riveting rendition of "Once there was a snowman".

Even with all the presents, somehow all three of these little ones ended up playing in a box for a while.
On Monday these three had a morning to themselves with my parents. They did painting, played ball, sang songs, and all sorts of other things. I wish I had pictures to show, but I don't. I did see some though and it looks like a good time was had by all!

I had to add in this picture because it makes me smile. Every year we all get together at my Aunt Nancy's house and at some point there is always the traditional talents show. Over the years talents have ranged from singing, trombone playing, juggling, and once my cousin showed off the talent of eating a dog treat. Well, this year Kate just couldn't help herself. She saw the piano and went running over. She's a little bit of a ham.
So, there you have it! That's what we did for Christmas. I hope all of you also had a great holiday.
