We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with Christian's Dad and his family. One of Kate's favorite things to do there was imitate her Uncle Michael. He's only 8 years older than her and he is really good at making her giggle.

Here Kate is 'playing' Wii. Michael gave her a controller without batteries and she was pretty convinced she was playing right along with him. Michael and Christian played football on the Wii for quite a while. Every time Michael would shout 'touchdown' she would shout 'ta da' and put her arms up. Then the two would high five and do a dance together. It was really cute to see how much fun they had together.
Kate also loved playing with her Aunt Kayla. I think Kayla must have an easier name for Kate to say because she would try and it would come out something like, "La la."
Christmas morning we went over to Christian's grandma's house.

Here's Kate snuggled up on her great-grandma's lap.

And here she in on her Uncle Alex's lap.
Kayla really wanted the movie "Jaws" for Christmas, and she got it. Christmas night we curled up in front of the TV to watch a cheery Christmas movie about a people-munching shark. Maybe it will be a new Christmas tradition to skip the Santa flick and watch something gory instead.
