Christmas with Christian's mom was great. First we had Christmas Eve dinner with the relatives and then I got to go with them to the Bell Concert to hear Christian's sister Cassie play. It brought back so many memories!!!
Besides the relatives Kate had two favorites at Christian's mom's house. 1. A whole bunch of stuffed Santas. There were 7 or so, all different sizes. She would carry them each over one at a time the couch, then to the chair, then over to Cassie, then over to the stairs, then back to the couch again, then to Christian, and then start the process all over again. There was one bigger than her and she got a kick out of body slamming it. 2. The Stairs!
Kate fell in love with the stairs. She would go up and down over and over again.
On our very last day we got to go out to dinner with Christian's step-sister Katie and her boyfriend Joe (as well as Jennifer, Ken, and Cassie). Kate was doing pretty well in the high chair but after a little while she got restless. I had her go on a walk with me to the bathroom and on the way back she saw an abandon booster seat on the ground. She thought it was the coolest thing ever and didn't want to leave it. We brought it back to our table. I tried setting it on a chair, but she insisted on keeping in on the ground. She spend the rest of dinner in her mini chair at the head of the table.
