James has been growing like crazy. I just realized the other day that he's not a newborn any more. That went by fast! He likes to sit up. He laughs and smiles all the time (especially at Kate). He used to get fussy every night at dinner but I realized it was because he was mad everyone was eating and no one was giving him anything. Now we give him rice cereal at dinner and he is a much happier camper. The other night, he woke up in the middle of the night. I realized he was cold, so I grabbed some pants and socks from the dresser. When I woke up in the morning, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw him.
Yes, those are Kate's pants and socks. Don't worry, he also wears boy clothes.
Recently we switched rooms so that the kids could be together in the Master bedroom. They love it. Kate's two favorite things are her reading nook (where she also likes to work out),
and her table and chairs. This has become her art studio.
She's my own little Jackson Pollock.
She's been doing really well with potty training. The down side of potty training is that when she's not wearing a diaper her pants don't stay up.
As you can see, life's pretty mellow, and I'm loving it!
Zoe has those same ice cream shorts as kate! And zoe has the same problem when she's not wearing a cloth diaper. Pants fall right off!
