Kate was in desperate need of new shoes. We headed off to the shoe store,
unloaded the car, and walked in the door. Immediately Kate stopped and
looked up, thrilled at the sight of rows and rows and rows of shoes. As soon as we got to the kids' section, she went straight for a pair of princess water shoes (you know, the kind you put on kids so that their feet don't get scraped up in the pool). She put them on and was very satisfied with her selection. I kept asking her to try on other shoes to which she responded, "No, those don't fit. But these fit perfect." I gave in, boxed up the beloved water shoes, and got ready to check out. On our way to the front of the store, Kate found another pair of shoes that she really liked. She talked me into them and I bought both pairs. Here are the shoes she picked out:
Lucky for me they are just my size.
