Our Library Rocks

I love our library to a nerdy extent. Fortunately for me, my kids also love our library to a nerdy extent. When we drive by on our way to go somewhere else James always spots it out the window, points, and shrieks. Kate waves along with him and says, "Hi Library! Don't worry, we'll see you next time."

About a week ago they did a big event at our library to kick off the summer reading program that included an  acrobat/juggling/stilt-walking show. Kate absolutely loved it. It was a 50 minute show and she sat for the whole thing! I only snapped one picture at the show. Kate's in the pink shirt. I was shocked to see how grown up she looked to me.

After the show the kids got to meet fire-fighters and police officers. They even got to sit in the fire truck.

I'm pretty sure that sitting in the drivers seat of a fire truck was on James's bucket list because he was beaming once he got inside. I wish I would have gotten a picture of his face.
Once we got home, Kate decided to reenact the acrobatic show with all of her toys.
