The other day we went to the Air and Space museum. The kids LOVED it! When we first pulled up, James saw this huge plane in front of the museum and started shouting, "Plane! Plane! Plane!" Kate joined it the chorus. Off we went to go check it out.
Once inside, the kids stood like this for a solid minute. They were so overwhelmed by all the airplanes, they didn't even know where to start.
About half way through our trip, Kate decided that she wanted to be 'the captain' of every plane. I asked her if she wanted to be a pilot, and adamantly replied, "No. I want to be the captain." We finally found her a captain's chair.
James, a little disappointed having to share the captain's chair with his sister, found his own.
We finished off our outing with some astronaut ice cream. Can you believe the Christian doesn't like this stuff?????? What a crazy man. That's ok, the kids got my genes when it comes to astronaut ice cream and kept begging for more.
