With all of the food on the table, James only ate two things: rolls and cranberries. He downed about three large scoops of cranberries. Even now when I ask how he liked Thanksgiving he says, "CRANBERRIES". Silly boy.
The day after Thanksgiving we went to the Utah/Colorado football game in Boulder. It was so fun! Just saying that shows how much I have evolved since we first got married. I can now honestly say I get excited about football. Well, let me clarify, I get excited about Utah football. Poor Christian had to wait five years for me to really get into it. Good thing he loves me.
I took this picture from our seats. Yup. We were awesomely close.
The bad news is that I accidentally deleted my video from the end of the game. After they won, all the players came over to the Utah section, sang 'A Utah Man Am I' and then went and high-fived the fans. As soon as he saw the players running over to him, James lit up! They were so cute to James! They gave him high-fives and told him things like, "I love your shirt little man!" and "Way to go little buddy!" James was bouncing up and down he was so excited.James really likes to tell "stories" right now which are basically a long string of words in sequence. If you ask him about the football game he'll say, "Football! Cans. Stinky. (there were lots of garbage cans there) Bonk! (he fell down) High-five! (giving the players a high-five) Santa."
After the game we saw Santa. He is a Utah fan, of course. We were walking to the shuttle to get back to our car and Santa was walking the same way. James kept shouting to him, "hot fire football!" A couple of days before James saw a flame football at the toy store. Trying to pry it out of his hands when it was time to go was difficult, so I told him he needed to ask Santa to bring him one. Apparently he really wants one because he shouted it to Santa about nine times. When we finally caught up to Santa, Kate also told him what she would like. I started to laugh so hard when she said it. She said, "I would like a dark blue ribbon." Seriously? You can ask for ANYTHING, and you ask for a dark blue ribbon?
Well, I think we can definitely make that happen.
Besides dinner and the football game, we also ate ice cream,
went to see horses (the horses are hard to see, but isn't my dad cute?),
and went to an awesome train museum.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time for Christmas, right? We think so.
