Theme Days

Kate and James have been taking gymnastics for about six months and they both love it. Aside from the fact that they love running and jumping on anything and everything, they really like gymnastics because of all the theme days. A couple of weeks ago I asked Kate on a Thursday night, "Do you remember what tomorrow's day is at gymnastics?" She looked at me, a little panicked, and said, "Yes! It's rodeo day, and Miss Rosie said I can wear a cowboy hat, but I don't have one." Then, with a look of relief, she said, "Oh, you can make me one, right Mommy?" That girl has quite a bit of confidence in my crafting skills. I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, but thanks to Pinterest, I found a really easy felt pattern, and about an hour later, this is what I had:

 The week after Rodeo week, it was crazy hair week. Kate told me that she wanted lots of ribbons.

 

James had less hair to work with, but he still looked pretty cute.   

This last week was football week. I forgot to take a picture, but they looked really cute. Kate wore a Utah jersey and James wore a Broncos t-shirt with football pants and a Utah sweatshirt. He picked the outfit out by himself.
