Today we drove up to Boulder to a U-pick farm to pick raspberries. It was so much fun! The kids found it absolutely magical to walk down the rows and rows of plants to hunt for the juicy red berries. After James put the first couple of berries in his container, he stuck his face in, took a deep sniff, and said, "Oh! They smell so good!" He couldn't help but sample them right away. Kate quickly joined in.
After the farm, we headed over to a park to have a picnic of bagels, raspberries, and Palisade peaches. I had always heard about Palisade peaches, but I didn't know what the big deal way until I tried one. Oh my! It was like eating candy. But better.
Oh, and just for the record, Kate picked out her own outfit today.
Finally, we ended our outing with a gave of pine-cone soccer. Nothing got by these cute goalies.
