If that's the case, we had anything but a stupid week last week.
Thursday the kids and I went to the 'Outdoor Art Museum'. There are several statues, mostly along a Alice-in-Wonderland theme. There is also a giant wicker-like dome that looks like a house with little rooms. The kids really appreciated the statues and spent much more time gazing at them they I would have imagined they would. These were their three favorite statues.
James got to pick what we did on Saturday. He decided he wanted to go to the art museum and ride a train. The museum had a few new exhibits that really attracted the kids. This was a giant felt wall where the kids created their own artwork.
As for the train ride, we rode the light rail. James loved it and kept calling it the 'train without an engine'.
On Wednesday my friend Mindy came over and we made bleach shirts. It was so relaxing to chat and craft. I put the bleach on a little to thick in some places, but overall, I was pleased with the outcome.This picture was taken pre-wash, so it looks a little different now.
