Give

A friend of mine recently had a baby. Kate was so excited when I told her. She said, "What are we going to give the baby?" I said, "I don't know. What do you want to give her?" She decided she wanted to give the baby a blanket. She then helped me pick out fabric, cut the pieces, and even push the pedal on the sewing machine while I guided the fabric through. She was pretty proud and when we went to deliver it she said, "Does the baby like it? I made it." I feel lucky to have such a sweet little girl who wants to give something to everyone, whether it be a colored picture from her coloring book or a rock she found on the road. She has a very sweet heart.
