It's been quite a month filled with all sorts of fun events.
We went on 'sleigh rides'.
The kids played for hours with their Little People nativity set up by the fire place, and I was always surprised to see what Mary and Joseph ended up playing with. One morning I found them pushing baby Jesus down this little red slide.
The kids played Christmas sensory bins.
I let the kids make fudge. I figured as long as I left the burners on low they would be okay. They did a great job! Don't worry, they were very supervised, except when I was taking this picture of course.
Kate spent a bunch of time 'reading' Christmas books.
The kids begged me for a mini-Christmas tree. Once we got one, they decided they needed mini stockings as well.
Kate and Christian went on a date to the Nutcracker. She was so excited to get all dressed up and go out with her dad.
While the first-borns were out at the ballet, we second-borns stayed home and played board games.
