Faster Than a Speeding Library

I'm pretty backlogged on blogging. My desktop if full of pictures I've been meaning to share. There are pictures from  park trips, museum trips, random stuff around the house, my family's visit to Denver, the royal ball, awesome presents the kids got in the mail from grandparents....it's all coming. Here's the first installment.

Yesterday our library had a super hero party in the afternoon. Did I mention our library is awesome?

There were bakery cookies to decorate.

Pictures to color.

And super-bands to make. However, neither kid wanted to wear their band and both insisted I wear them. I discovered pretty quickly why they didn't want to wear them---they are pretty itchy! 

On our way out we stopped to climb the tree.

After the party I had a primary presidency meeting at church. Since Christian was working late I brought the kids with me. They were pretty well behaved, but James kept saying, "Mom, where are the cookies? You said there were going to be cookies!" No matter how many times I explained to him that I had said there would be cookies at the LIBRARY, he still didn't believe me and kept searching for cookies, only to be disappointed. Oh well.
