The Tuesday after Labor Day I dropped Kate off at school, picked up my friend Karlee, and headed to the beach. Ok, the "beach". With jet skis and boats going around the lake, we even got some waves while we were there. The best part about going the day after Labor Day was that we were just about the only people on the sand.
We had so much fun that after nap time we picked Kate up from school and headed right back and stayed for several more hours. We swam, dug in the sand, made castles, and even searched for and found sea shells.
