Fire and Football

I have now seen two things I had never seen before. 

1. A car on fire. 2. Kelseys wearing blue to a football game.

We're only about an hour away from the Air Force Academy, so we decided to go watch a game. 

On the drive down toward Colorado Springs, traffic was starting to slow. I looked up and saw a car on fire. It was quite a sight! Scary stuff.

 

We got to the stadium a few minutes before the game started. Luckily we didn't miss the mascot parachuting onto the field. What an awesome start to a game!

Kate was pretty entranced with the game. She would ask Christian questions and he would explain what was happening. James needed a little more distraction. After the first quarter he needed selfies and ice cream to stay involved.

Both kids really liked the half time show. 

 It was a good game, and I think Christian learned a valuable lesson: wear sunscreen.
