We've been on some fun field trips in the last little while.
We went to Whole Foods and learned all about food and nutrition. 
We went to a fire station and learned about fire safety and emergency escape plans. We even got to take a tour of the living quarters. Kate was excited because there were two female fire fighters there.
James was convinced he could make it up the pole.
We went to a zoo class and the kids got to touch a rabbit,
a millipede,
and a tortoise named Craig. They named him Craig because he was being illegally sold on Craigslist when they found him.
After the class we stayed and played with friends.
James and I got to take a field trip to Kate's school to help out with lunch duty. James loved eating lunch with his sister.
