Every now and again Christian has to travel for work. A few months ago he went to DC for a week and a half. Now, I will make it clear right now, I am so grateful I am not a military wife. 10 days was plenty long for me, thank you very much. That being said, I thought it was going to be ridiculously hard without Christian, but the three of us did pretty well alone. We had a campout in the living room, had a movie night (the kids thought that was fun because they usually only watch TV when Christian is around), and had friends over for play dates (see the picture below).
That week I was reading a book by Lemony Snickett. I ran across these words of wisdom. What a wise man.
