Christian is really hard to shop for, ut I finally figured out a good present for his birthday this year: Birthday Week. I did everything: bath, dishes, taking out the garbage, etc. and I let him pick anything he wanted to do. He totally loved it!
Monday we went down to Colorado Springs to go to Cave of the Winds. It is so beautiful there!
The kids were pretty big fans of the gift shop.
The cave itself was awesome. James especially liked it...until they turned out all the lights. He held onto Christian pretty tight when that happened.
Afterward we went and played mini-golf.
Kate got a hole-in-one on the last hole!
James had his own golfing technique.
On the morning of Christian's actual birthday the kids got up early with me to help decorate.
We had birthday cinnamon rolls.
And then off Christian went to work, almost forgetting to take his birthday crown off.
For some reason Christian wanted a Cheerio cake for his birthday. So, that's what I made.
30 candles sure make a lot of flame.
The night of Christian's birthday, we got to have a friend come sleepover because his mom was having a baby. Christian was exciting that she was born on his actual birthday.
Happy 30th to the most wonderful, caring, sweet man I've ever met. You are the greatest joy in my life!
