This and That

Things are still rolling merrily along. We're now under two weeks before baby comes. As part of the nesting process, I've been feeling crafty. It drives Christian nuts when the sewing machine is whirring while he's watching TV, but he's been a good sport and put up with it. Here are a few of my recent projects: Spring has sprung and Kate and I have spent hours and hours outside playing in the sun.

Well, we enjoyed playing outside until last week when out of nowhere it started raining, hailing, snowing a couple of miles away, and (this is the craziest part) there was even a small tornado last Friday. What a week! It was nice to see the sun again today.

Yesterday some of my friends had a fabulous baby shower for me. It was so much fun! Kate had a blast unwrapping presents. I had a blast imagining a little boy in all the cute new clothes.

Finally, I decided it was time to actually take a picture of myself. I'm feeling huge. I think I'm bigger this time around than I was last time. Basically I'm counting down the days until I don't have to wear maternity pants anymore. Yuck! I hate those things.
