Glad My Kids Love to Play Together

I've said this before, Kate and James are best friends. They might not always seems like it when we're out in public, but at home they play with each other all day long. They have great imaginations and play all sort of pretend games. They like to build train tracks, fix things with tools, play animal parade, pretend to have gymnastics classes together (they take turns being the teacher), pull out all the pots, pans, and cans from the kitchen and cook, color pictures, chase each other around the house, and lots, lots more.

The other day I was in the kitchen wiping down the counter when I came around the corner to see this. My heart just melted. James was the Mommy Bear and Kate was the Baby Bear and they were getting their house ready for bed.
Are you ready for a silly confession? For about half a second after I took this picture, I thought, "Do I let James play with too many girl toys?"  Luckily that thought only lasted about half a second. I quickly remembered this that I saw the other day on Facebook:

I'm  glad that my kids play together. I'm glad that Kate loves to play trains and James loves to play babies. I'm glad that they like walking down all the aisles at Toys R Us, not just their gender specific aisle. I'm glad they are willing to play with both boys and girls. Most of all, I'm glad that they love to play with each other.
