Water, Water, Everywhere

The  kids are like little magnets when it comes to water. They can't resist it! One day after we were done with the art museum, I told the kids that they could put their toes in the fountain out front. About 30 seconds in, this is what they looked like.

I bought an eight dollar pool at the grocery store and it was eight dollars well spent.

We often drive by this lake, so one day we stopped and rode scooters around it. The kids just wanted to sit and watch the water for ages.

I promised a trip to the splash park early on in the summer. We decided to get there early. We pulled up at 10 am only to find that it was closed for repairs. We kept driving until we finally found another one. It took us about 45 minutes to find another one, but it was worth it. Kate was a little more excited about the splash park than James was, but he warmed up to it eventually.

My friend Karlee invited me to go to Pirate's Cove water park with her. It was so much fun! The kids had been begging to go for ages, so I'm glad we finally went. They loved it.

Nature was kind enough to provide plenty of water for us to enjoy as well.

Sometimes we even got water in frozen form.
